Rest assured that, unlike the many bogus publicity sites, we intend to achieve excellent search engine performance with this site – for us that’s the main aim. The keys to this lie in understanding both how potential holiday customers use Internet and how search engines work :
These days a site must be specialised in order to get good search engine positions and attract large numbers of serious visitors – that’s why you usually don’t get any bookings from a website covering worldwide holiday rentals… We only cover the Vendee, for those specifically looking to take a holiday in the Vendee (ie they have already more or less decided where and a seriously looking).
Just creating a website is not enough – it might never be found in a search engine at all. Every aspect of the site needs careful development and optimisation, both in the content and in the technical aspects that the user never sees. Our approach is realistic and fair
Everyone in tourism is inundated with website publicity offers, most of which have little or no value whatsoever, other than earning these websites lots of subscription money. As holidays-in-vendee is a new site and still under development it will take a few months to reach good positions in the search engines (such as Google). It’s therefore fairer to offer FREE publicity on the site during this early stage.
